Ocean LED is growing, and we're looking for a technically minded individual ready to take on a hybrid role one that combines commercial responsibilities, customer-facing opportunities, and technical tasks.

This role suits Technicians or Engineers with a basic mechanical and/or Electrical mindset, looking to broaden their skillset into a more commercial remit.
Full training on our systems and CAD tools will be provided.
What you'll be doing Developing lighting design proposals for custom projects CAD layouts, 3D assemblies, light placement charts.
Producing technical documentation: reports, test procedures, and specifications Providing technical support, system diagnosis, fault finding, and troubleshooting Visiting client sites for system commissioning and customer support (occasional travel abroad required, a few times a year) Working with the quality team: goods-in inspection; approving/rejecting parts, discussing any quality issues with suppliers and agreeing on corrective actions.
