Full time technical manager in the factory and office in Wolverhampton

Job Description Oceanic Saunas Ltd is a family owned business that manufacture and sell sauna, steam rooms and associated equipment. /n We are interested someone who can: /n Quickly pick up new technical information and learn the mechanical and electrical operation of the equipment. /n Think logically about how and why a fault may have arisen from verbal and visual information /n Communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal form /n Speak to customers clearly and politely over the phone /n Daily responsibilities will involve: /n Identifying technical faults relating to our sauna heaters, and steam generators and associated control system equipment /n Speaking to customers over the phone and via email to diagnose faults and offer solutions. /n Organise replacement equipment and the return of faulty products and components. /n Keeping track of returned faulty equipment and liaising with staff at Oceanic and suppliers to make improvements of existing products. /n Install, modify or test samples, prototypes and exiting equipment within the factory. /n Repair faulty equipment /n Liaise with 3rd party technical companies involved with safety testing of equipment. /n Attend internal meetings to discuss technical matters associated with Oceanic products. /n Make up electrical components as required to go out to customers. /n Required skills and knowledge: /n Fundamental understanding of electronics and electrical circuits. /n Competent use of a computer for writing emails and creating documents using the Microsoft Office. /n Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and via email. /n Advantageous skills: /n Formal training or education relating to electronics and or plumbing. /n Familiarity with installing or servicing heating equipment such as boilers, heaters or heating elements /n New employee will be hired following an initial 3 month probation period
