Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and maintain a strong financial and internal control environment, including the policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigation of financial exposures and risks.
- Lead the global finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance, professional development, and succession planning.
- Drive and oversee the group financial reporting process, including the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements and the roll-up from group companies.
- Support and cooperate with FP&A in the creation of management reports and analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure completeness of comparative financial data within reporting systems.
- Application owner of Group consolidation system.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks, including leading the internal audit team.
- Manage and lead relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth audit processes and compliance with statutory obligations worldwide.
- Evaluate and optimize financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Support mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Be part of the financial leadership team and provide financial advice and insights to senior management, board of directors, and other key stakeholders on relevant matters.
- Closely interact with the Chair of the Audit Committee on relevant matters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the company’s financial operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the finance organization, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, with a track record of success in global organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
