Care Assistant needed to support a 38‑year‑old man with autism and learning disability at his home in Chudleigh. You will be working 1:1 with the client. Shift times are 0900-1730, with 2 shifts per week (Monday and Tuesday). Flexibility will be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

Ocean Healthcare is looking for an experienced Care Assistant to support a gentleman who can communicate verbally and has some mobility via the use of a wheelchair. He uses CPAP overnight or whenever he sleeps and is wheelchair-driven himself. He has regular seizures but usually does not require intervention. He lives with his mum, dad and dog. He enjoys hydrotherapy, going out, cars and talking about them. He doesn’t like loud noises and can become disregulated if surprised or stray too far from routines.
Key Responsibilities

- Support with getting out and about and doing things around the house
- Support with keeping safe due to visual impairment
- Receive support and training from expert team
What We're Looking For
- Experienced and confident Care Assistant
