Support Worker required to provide 2:1 support for a gentleman living with an enduring mental illness in Bodmin. Day and Night shifts available.
Ocean Healthcare are looking for a Support Worker to provide dedicated 2:1 support for a gentleman living with a long-term mental illness. He also experiences hallucinations and delusional thoughts. With the support of a Nurse on-call 24/7, your role will be to help ensure he feels safe and secure while also encouraging him to rebuild his confidence in engaging with the activities he loves.
He finds great comfort in music, river fishing and sharing stories. He loves spending time with his daughters and enjoys going to live music events, which is something he hopes to regain confidence in doing again.
Shifts Available:
- DAY SHIFTS (08:00–20:00)
- NIGHT SHIFTS (20:00-08:00)

- The ideal candidate would be a resilient, confident Support Worker with a background in mental health support and experience managing challenging behaviours. Full training and support will be provided.

- Reliability and good communication
- Right to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visas)
