Duties And Responsibilities

The Projects Control Engineer (GDi) is essential in supporting our offshore Operations Team by ensuring robust project planning, scheduling, and cost management.

Functions

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in line with company and client requirements.
  • Monitor and report progress against baseline plans, highlighting risks and variances.
  • Track and forecast project costs, commitments, and expenditures.
  • Prepare regular reports for both internal management and client distribution.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and to support delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and cost control processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to Senior Manager, Operations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Relevant experience in project planning
  • Relevant experience in cost control
  • Solid understanding of cost management principles.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficient in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Motivated team player with attention to detail and commitment to delivery.
