Duties And Responsibilities
The Projects Control Engineer (GDi) is essential in supporting our offshore Operations Team by ensuring robust project planning, scheduling, and cost management.
Functions
- Develop and maintain project schedules in line with company and client requirements.
- Monitor and report progress against baseline plans, highlighting risks and variances.
- Track and forecast project costs, commitments, and expenditures.
- Prepare regular reports for both internal management and client distribution.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and to support delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and cost control processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to Senior Manager, Operations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Relevant experience in project planning
- Relevant experience in cost control
- Solid understanding of cost management principles.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Proficient in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent communication and organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Motivated team player with attention to detail and commitment to delivery.
