Duties And Responsibilities
Purpose
Define Oceaneering’s SSR long-term product and services strategy. Develop technology roadmaps and system development plans, including upgrade, retirement, and replacement planning.
Functions
- Provide insights and recommendations into innovative SSR solutions and technologies.
- Create and define the SSR Technology Roadmap annually.
- Develop SSR Asset “Upgrade” programs with “Value Add Assessments”.
- Determine when SSR Assets should be retired and plan replacements.
- Conduct competitive SSR intelligence.
- Perform product lifecycle assessments on SSR offerings.
- Assess opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Lead new SSR product development teams.
- Interface between SSR service offerings and Sales initiatives.
- Coordinate regularly with the Fleet Manager to align annual goals.
- Create SSR portfolio growth and review plans.
- Collaborate with all OI product development teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Manage Integrated Service Offerings and Solutions related to SSR.
- Provide necessary commercial support.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain visas for international travel.
DESIRED
- Experience in regional intercultural communications and business relationships.
- Strong technology background.
- Knowledge of country legal structures and international contracts.
- Experience with Subsea Operations.
- Experience in customer-facing marketing, communications, and negotiations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and PeopleSoft ERP.
