As the IMDS Service Excellence Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth delivery of resources to support our local operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the effective planning, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment and personnel, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Operations Manager with roll out of operational excellence initiatives.
  • Participates in all HSE and Quality excellence initiatives.
  • Working closely with HR /TA & GM to ensure competent personnel are identified to meet specific project assignments.
  • Coordinate with other region operations co‑ordinators to share personnel as and when required, maximising utilisation.
  • In conjunction with Equipment Manager, prepares reports on equipment utilisation.
  • Supports with inductions and pre‑job briefing in conjunction with Operations and Project Managers.
  • Assist Operations Manager with liaison and timely communication to the field support staff.
  • In conjunction with Global Mobility, report on overall utilisation of field personnel.
  • Coordinates and supports with organising personnel competency assessments.
  • In conjunction with Training & Competency department, identifies and provides all offshore personnel training, regulatory compliance and competency certificates.
  • Train and coach personnel with time entry and expense reporting (Crew Time, Peoplesoft and clock‑it).
  • Assist Operations Manager with raising requisitions within Peoplesoft for approval.
  • Report any HSE observations when applicable.
  • Report any Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) observed for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with other local Oceaneering Service Excellence personnel, to review best practice.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position will have direct supervisory responsibility for allocated staff or contract personnel.

Where direct reports are assigned, the role will provide appropriate oversight, guidance and support.

The position also involves regular coordination with technicians and project teams, including communicating mobilisation details and supporting out of hours or weekend requirements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e. g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration).
  • Extensive experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and relevant resource management software.
  • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record‑keeping.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry best practices.
