About the Team
Oceaneering Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS) delivers capability, safety, and reliability. As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on various components, pipework, and structural assemblies. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of these assets, adhering to strict specifications and industry standards. You will work closely with our team to identify and address any potential issues, providing valuable insights and recommendations to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections using various techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
- Interpret and analyze inspection results, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to discuss findings and implement necessary actions.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and industry advancements.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians as needed.
- Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT inspection, preferably in a similar industry.
- Certified to Level II in multiple NDT methods, as per ISO 9712 or equivalent in Ultrasonics, MPI, DPI.
- Strong knowledge of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Willingness to undergo further training and development opportunities.
- Valid driving license and flexibility to travel as required.
- Any relevant industry certifications or qualifications will be an advantage.
