Duties And Responsibilities
Purpose
To provide Maintenance Engineering support and professional engineering advice in accordance with governing documents, quality and norms of both client and company. The Senior Maintenance Engineer will have a strong ability to the development of philosophies, strategies and supporting the delivery for all aspects of maintenance engineering related activities for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations. This will also include the management of activities within client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Functions
- Ensure effective input and management of data within CMMS database.
- Manage project specific technical data from client library/documentation.
- Development of Asset Register and hierarchy in accordance with project drawings and documentation.
- Conduct criticality assessments and facilitate FMECA / RCM’s.
- Evaluate, define, and development of specific maintenance concepts, programs, and strategies for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.
- Liaise with Client Technical Authorities and Disciplines Leads to deliver optimized maintenance requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to the maintenance and operations departments on equipment and reliability issues and technologies.
- Perform audits of the maintenance programs on industrial assets and provide insights on the level of compliancy.
- Undertake spare part evaluations and develop of bills of materials.
- Manage the preparation of data for input into reviews/and (or) client presentations and meetings.
- Ensure effective operation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems as required.
- Manage re-evaluations of maintenance programmes based on operational feedback.
- Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service.
- Support the Line Manager in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
- Effective communication with clients and other engineering teams.
- Preparation of clear and concise technical reports.
- Assist the development of a supportive and collaborative work culture.
NON-ESSENTIAL

Qualifications
REQUIRED
Degree qualified, with industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline.
DESIRED
Award of professional engineer status within local region.
