REQUIRED
- Previous experience effectively leading project teams within an onshore role.
- Previous experience within the oil and gas industry / lifting equipment sector, with a proven understanding of applicable industry standards and compliance requirements.
- LEEA Foundation qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in financial management, budget control, and project cost tracking.
- Ability to supervise and lead multi-disciplined professionals.
- Strong team building skills with the ability to promote a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to use initiative to identify, propose, and implement improvements to work practices.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to apply sound judgement and reasoning.
- Ability to prioritise work independently and change priorities to meet operational demand.
- Confident in written and spoken English with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- IT literate with very good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
DESIRED
- LEEA Diploma qualification(s) or equivalents.
- Degree qualified in an engineering or business-related discipline.
- Proficient in the use of Motion Kinetic software.
- Knowledge of various Non Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
- Knowledge of Lifting Equipment and defect requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 requirements and UKAS accreditation principles.

Purpose
Responsible for the safe, efficient, and commercially effective delivery of projects. The role ensures project objectives are achieved through effective resource management, client engagement, technical support, operational oversight, and compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
Functions
- Focal point for delivery of all aspects of designated projects.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, integrated activity plans, work orders, and scopes of work.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to meet project, contract, and client requirements.
- Ensure suitably qualified and competent personnel are assigned to projects and work within their designated responsibilities.
- Supporting interview process, recruitment selection, and assessment of personnel, for permanent & temporary resources.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project teams and key stakeholders. Attending client and management meetings as required.
- Ensure risks and integrity issues are identified and addressed appropriately.
- Provide operational support to project teams, inspectors, and inspection engineers.
- Manage the commercial performance of assigned projects, including budgeting, cost control, resource planning, invoicing support, and contract compliance.
- Support in the preparation of tenders, proposals, CTRs, budgets, and monthly reports.
- Support business development activities through client engagement and promotion of company services.
- Identify training and competency requirements and support ongoing workforce development.
- Support HSE audits, assessments, incident investigations, and the close-out of corrective actions and improvement actions.
- Provide support and operational cover for the Crane & Lifting Project Manager duties as required.
