The Assistant Compliance Manager will report to the Corporate Compliance Manager with primary responsibility to assist in ensuring that management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the standards of the Company’s Code of Conduct.

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Studies, Management from College/University; demonstrable relevant experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the areas of Compliance, Regulatory, Legal, Audit or Finance.

Assist the Corporate Compliance Manager in developing, implementing, monitoring and promoting the Corporate Compliance Program, as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.

Report to the Corporate Compliance Manager on a regular basis to review progress on program implementation and assist with establishing improvement plans.

Assist in development and implementation of Compliance training and monitoring plans.

Perform compliance-related due diligence on customers, business partners, third party representatives (3PRs) and suppliers, as required by the business pursuant to day-to-day operations.

Provide functional support to the Commercial and Contracts teams in the review and analysis of customer business ethics policies, completion of customer Compliance questionnaires and declarations as part of the tendering process or vendor qualification process.

Provide compliance advice and guidance to other support functions (e. g., SCM, HR, Legal).

Provide information to Internal Audit team; respond to Compliance-related findings.

Assist with conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that Company’s compliance procedures are being followed.

Participate in internal investigations of the Company’s compliance matters.

Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.

Provide training to employees and external business partners on compliance-related topics, policies or procedures.

Operate and enhance as needed internal reporting systems such as the Ethics Hotline (Ethics Point), Conflicts of Interest database, Gifts and Entertainment Register, Third Party Representative Due Diligence platform, and promote the use of these systems to employees.

Conduct site visits to deliver Compliance training, connect with local management teams, support functions and external business partners, with a view to promoting the Corporate Compliance Program and providing local guidance and support.

This element of the role will require international travel.
