The Training and Development Funding Specialist provides support to all funding programs by identifying and maximizing grant utilization and recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and drive ECITB and other funding programs whilst engaging with stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication with ECITB and other funding programs and opportunities with UK Management.
  • Implement and maintain regular communication rollouts to new and existing managers.
  • Maximise grant recovery from training activities taken by UK employees.
  • Be the main point of contact for all initial ECITB queries from the business.
  • Liaise with ECITB ensuring understanding of appropriate Grant Lines / RDG grants to be used for Training.
  • Obtain relevant approvals and cost codes from Managers.
  • Where necessary, liaise with SCM/Finance/Snr Managers regarding invoice and credit ECITB queries.
  • Update and Maintain ECITB Tracker and Portal.
  • Manage or support Training Repayment Agreements.
  • Update Certificates/Invoices/Evidence to ECITB Portal for cost reimbursements.
  • End of year reconciliation – ensuring all commitments and evidence has been entered to the ECITB Portal.
  • Management and execution of additional funding programs.
  • Actively identify additional funding schemes to support global regions as directed by Management.
Qualifications
  • REQUIRED
  • Related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Grants Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software-Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Evidence of strong organizational and time management skills.
  • DESIRED
  • Strong communication and administration skills.
  • Preferably experience with ECITB or other funding programs.
