When appointed as duty staff to cable car operations, takes up all the duties and responsibilities to ensure safe operations of the system. Assists the Assistant Ropeway Manager & C.P.s to supervise the cable car electrical maintenance staff and ensure they have all the required skillsets, knowledge, training and tools to repair, maintain & overhaul the cable car equipment safely & properly.
Assists the Assistant Ropeway Manager & C.P.s to execute cable car workshop work; ensures all day-to-day routines & activities are carried out smoothly & legitimately. Assists the Assistant Ropeway Manager & C.P.s to carry out the cable car maintenance activities, ensuring equipment is maintained & overhauled according to the Maintenance Schedule with all document requirements fulfilled. Assists the Assistant Ropeway Manager & C.P.s to manage the part stores, ensuring an adequate amount of parts are kept to support all maintenance activities.
To be licensed as a controller when gaining enough experience. The electrical team is in demand of mid-supervisory staff responsible for training and leading a team of electricians to support the critical electrical maintenance & operation of the cable car system; operations will be compromised if the position cannot be filled soonest.
Requirement:
- Degree in Engineering or higher diploma/certificate with substantial experience.
- 8 years experience in cable car or heavy electro-mechanical system maintenance.
- Registered Electrical Worker, B0 or above.
- Able to work at height (may work in confined space environment if necessary).
- Work on shift & perform overnight duties as necessary.
- Possession of a valid driving license of LGV and a valid Green Card will be an advantage.
- Applicants with less experience will also be considered.
