Contract Survey Officer (Monkey Contraception Team)
Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will carry out daily surveys of the monkeys in Kam Shan and Lion Rock Country Parks. The incumbent will also coordinate with the Project Manager, catching team and veterinary services team in arranging trapping events. He/she will also handle necessary administrative duties for the field operation such as food baits order and other consumable supplies, stock and storage management, delivery, relocation and maintenance of monkey traps.
Requirements
Be physically fit to work in the fields in Hong Kong’s weather conditions
Familiarity with comparable field projects with at least 2-year experience directly relevant to wildlife surveys
Diligence in data collection and reporting
Able to be a good team player
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
