The Role

We're looking for a commercially driven relationship builder with an established network of senior marketing and commercial decision-makers and a deep understanding of the media landscape.

You will use your industry expertise, consultative approach and commercial acumen to identify opportunities and create strategic partnerships with brands and advertisers.

By understanding client objectives, business challenges and growth ambitions, you'll develop solutions that leverage Ocean's inventory, technology and partnerships to deliver measurable business outcomes and long‑term commercial value.

Reporting to the Director of Brand Partnerships, you'll play a critical role in driving category growth, developing new revenue opportunities and positioning Ocean as a trusted strategic partner to brands.

  • What you will be doing
  • Develop and maintain senior relationships with key decision‑makers, including CMOs, marketing directors, brand directors and commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead consultative client conversations to uncover business challenges, marketing objectives and growth opportunities, translating these into solutions that leverage Ocean's inventory, technology and creative capabilities.
  • Understand and effectively communicate Ocean's product proposition, technology, data capabilities and partnerships in relation to client requirements.
  • Proactively identify and develop opportunities within target accounts and categories, creating solutions before formal briefs exist and driving growth across priority sectors.
  • Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities that meet and exceed revenue objectives.
  • Act as an Ocean ambassador, attending networking events, hosting or participating in panels, and representing Ocean at key industry events.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop client engagement strategies, CRM initiatives, presentations and pitch collateral.
  • Take ownership of key growth categories identified through market segmentation.
  • Collaborate with the wider commercial team to drive year‑on‑year revenue growth through a client‑first approach.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams, including Content & Sponsorship, to create innovative and commercially compelling opportunities for clients.
  • Develop long‑term partnership opportunities around the world‑famous Piccadilly Lights and other premium Ocean assets.
  • Manage resources and oversee campaign delivery for direct bookings.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance to ensure campaign accuracy, booking confirmations and the timely resolution of invoice queries.
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives and projects as required.
  • What qualities you will bring
  • An established and active network of senior marketing and commercial decision‑makers, with a track record of creating commercial opportunities through relationships.
  • Proven experience developing commercial pipelines and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Comfortable engaging, influencing, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A consultative approach to selling, combined with a strong understanding of the wider media ecosystem and the role of OOH within integrated marketing strategies.
  • Naturally curious, proactive and opportunity‑focused, constantly looking for ways to create value for clients and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge thinking constructively and bring fresh perspectives that drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborative by nature, sharing knowledge, resources and insights to help colleagues secure opportunities and deliver outstanding work.
  • Able to build confidence with clients, partners and internal stakeholders by consistently delivering high‑quality, award‑winning campaigns.
  • What success looks like
  • Establishing Ocean as a trusted strategic partner amongst senior marketing decision‑makers.
  • Growing revenue through both new and existing client relationships, increasing brand count and average client spend.
  • Delivering measurable growth across priority categories and sectors.
  • Building a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities that convert into long‑term client partnerships.
  • Identifying innovative ways to leverage Ocean's assets, inventory and partnerships to create commercial value.
