Ocean Kinetics is looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor/Foreman to join our team in Orkney. Working with clients across some of the islands' key industries from aquaculture and fishing to renewable energy, whisky and agriculture, no two projects are quite the same. It's a role that offers the opportunity to work across the company, take responsibility for a varied range of projects and play an important part in developing the next generation of skilled workers.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and/or welding (coding qualifications would be beneficial)
  • Strong workshop and site-based experience
  • Good leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience mentoring and training apprentices
  • The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • A practical, can-do approach and pride in delivering quality work
  • The right to work in the UK
