Ocean Installer is a global marine construction company delivering large complex projects in challenging environments. The company has offices in Stavanger, Oslo, Aberdeen and Dubai. With a business model based on partnerships, we have a flexible asset strategy and customer mindset. This creates agility. Ocean Installer is owned by Moreld, a leading industrial multi-disciplinary engineering group offering services across offshore energy and marine industries.
As our portfolio of pre‑execution studies and EPCI projects continues to grow, we are actively expanding and developing our Front End and Design Engineering capability. This growth reflects our ambition to become a stronger, more integrated provider in the early project development space as well as a reliable delivery partner for complex EPCI projects. To support this expansion, we are seeking engineers with subsea design and analysis expertise who can contribute from concept select and front‑end definition through to successful project execution.
Who we’re looking for
Our ambition is to grow our team by hiring the best talent and to continue delivering the best possible projects for our clients. - Oversee detailed design workscopes, including managing third-party design houses and ensuring alignment with project needs.
- Act as a key liaison with clients and external partners, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
- Coordinate with design counterparts across flexible manufacturers to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Review engineering analysis for:
- Subsea rigid spool design & tie‑in analysis
