About the Role

Ocean Infinity is seeking a Technology Integration Lead that is accountable for the delivery, embedding, and operational adoption of integrated technologies across Data Services operations. The role acts as the primary interface between Data Services operational teams and technology development, ensuring operational needs are translated into clear requirements and practical deployment plans, and that delivered solutions are fit for purpose in real operational environments. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Operations, the role is responsible for executing the agreed technology integration blueprint and operational capability roadmap across Data Services functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the execution of technology integration initiatives across Data Services, in alignment with the operational capability roadmap and priorities set by the Head of Integrated Operations.
  • Serve as the day‑to‑day integration lead between Data Services functions and the Technologies Business Unit, coordinating delivery activities and resolving execution‑level integration issues.
  • Translate operational requirements into clear, actionable deployment plans, ensuring technology solutions reflect operational realities, constraints, and risk profiles.
  • Own deployment readiness and adoption execution, including operational trials, pilots, phased rollouts, and early‑life support.
  • Define and manage deployment readiness checklists, training requirements, transition plans, and hyper‑care arrangements, aligned with the Operations Readiness framework.
  • Ensure deployments across offshore operations, ROC, remote operations, and asset environments are operationally ready, supported, and sustainably embedded.
  • Ensure new technologies are supported by clear processes, defined roles, appropriate competencies, and support models prior to go‑live.
  • Coordinate pilots, trials, and early adoption activities, ensuring operational learnings are captured and fed back into design refinement and rollout plans.
  • Support the Head of Integrated Operations in defining value realisation measures and ensure deployment outcomes are tracked against expected benefits.
  • Monitor post‑deployment performance and adoption, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions with owning functions and teams.
  • Identify and manage integration risks, dependencies, and execution bottlenecks, escalating where decisions, trade‑offs, or arbitration are required.
  • Maintain close alignment with functional leaders to ensure deployment activities do not compromise operational safety, delivery performance, or resilience.
  • Provide line management to a small technology integration team, setting clear objectives, priorities, and standards for delivery.
  • Build and maintain a high‑performing team culture, focused on collaboration, accountability, and operational impact.
  • Support the capability development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and experience required to operate effectively across complex operational environments.

Who You Are

  • Extensive offshore technical and operational experience, with a strong understanding of how systems perform in real‑world environments.
  • Passion for innovation and a keen eye for value creation, with a practical mindset on what will work in operations.
  • Operationally grounded and understand how technology needs to work across offshore, remote, and control centre environments.
  • Ability to translate between teams effectively — turning operational needs into clear, actionable deployment plans without losing context or detail.
  • Ownership of outcomes, not just activities — ensuring technologies are not only delivered but successfully embedded and used.
  • Structured and delivery‑focused, with a strong grip on progress tracking, dependencies, and execution risk.
  • Comfortable working across functions, building alignment and resolving issues without relying on formal authority.
  • Pragmatic approach, balancing pace with quality and operational safety.
  • Clear and direct communication, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed at all levels.
  • Lead by example, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability and collaboration within your team.

Desirable

  • Experience working in offshore, subsea, remote operations, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology or system integration into live operations (not just development or design).
  • Familiarity with deployment readiness, operational trials, and transition‑to‑operations frameworks.
  • Understanding of offshore surveys, AUV/ROV operations, or related technical domains.
  • Experience working across geographically distributed teams and environments (e.g., vessels, ROC, remote support).
  • Exposure to scaling new technologies from pilot through to full operational adoption.
  • Experience defining and tracking value realisation or performance improvements post‑deployment.
  • Prior line management experience, with a focus on building capability and consistent delivery standards.
  • Ability to work comfortably in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information.

Salary

Up to £90,000 per annum. Salary varies by region and job grade and is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
