What You Will Do
- We are looking for a Production Manager to lead the build, integration, and delivery of our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
- In the near term, you will ensure AUVs are built to spec and delivered on time, working closely with engineers, technicians, and suppliers. The role is based in the UK, with production centred in Southampton. Over time, production may expand to our regional sites, giving you the chance to help shape our global production strategy.
- This role can grow into a senior leadership position. Success in delivering, scaling, and improving production will be the foundation for that progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver AUV builds and integrations according to agreed schedules, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Manage and coordinate production activities, facilitating the transition from engineering to build phases.
- Coordinate with the supply chain to obtain materials and components and address issues as they arise.
- Supervise production technicians and contractors to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
