Ocean Infinity is seeking a People Development Manager (Maternity Cover) to support the continued and effective delivery of established learning and development programmes across the organisation. This role is key in maintaining momentum across critical initiatives, including the Cross-Training Programme and LMS transformation. This role is a critical role on the HR team but is a stand-alone role so we are seeking someone who can encompass and be hands-on in all areas of Learning and Development, including the technical aspects. This role requires an individual with proven L&D delivery experience, capable of managing programmes, stakeholders and systems with minimal supervision, while operating within an established strategic framework.
What Will You Do
- Own and drive day-to-day delivery of the Cross-Training Programme, ensuring learning pathways, tracking and reporting are executed effectively.
- Manage delivery of key learning programmes, including early careers, apprenticeships, leadership development and mandatory training.
- Act as functional owner of the Sana LMS, overseeing course structures, learner journeys, reporting and ongoing optimisation.
- Monitor programme performance and learning effectiveness, identifying issues and implementing improvements within agreed frameworks.
- Maintain training records, competence frameworks and audit-ready documentation in line with company standards.
- Track progress across learning initiatives, proactively managing risks, dependencies and delivery timelines.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure training requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
- Work with HRBPs to develop Career Pathways across Ocean Infinity.
- Manage relationships with external training providers to ensure quality, consistency and value.
- Oversee training coordination (enrolment, attendance, completion tracking) ensuring a seamless learner experience.
- Maintain and continuously improve the company training materials library and learning content.
- Support delivery of training linked to ongoing transformation and operational capability programmes.
Who You Are
- Available and ready to start from 11th May 2026 – May 2027.
- Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on programme delivery and/or operational management.
- Experienced at managing learning programmes (e.g. technical training, early careers, leadership or compliance training).
- Working knowledge of LMS platforms and digital learning environments.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow through on delivery.
- Confident working within established frameworks while applying sound judgement to day-to-day decisions.
- Experienced in maintaining training records, reporting and supporting audit or compliance processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An enthusiastic proponent of technology including AI and proficient with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Salary for this position: Up to £65,000 per annum. The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
