About the Role
Ocean Infinity is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP & A analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and control of capex projects and cashflow, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines. You will act as a key business partner to capex managers and provide cashflow for the projects. This role will also support the budget and forecast process across the company looking at department spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial oversight of Capex projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Advise and be able to identify project risks and opportunities and link this to the deliverables of the company.
- Ensure cashflow assumptions are robust and accurate.
- Business partnering – Collaborate closely with managers, providing financial insight and challenge to drive performance.
- Process and systems improvements - Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities.
- Assist in budget and forecast process across the company looking at department spending and challenging the assumptions made to ensure accuracy.
- Provide insightful analysis as required to support operational and strategic priorities across the business.
Qualifications
- Hold an accounting qualification AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Experience in capex controlling, financial analysis, or project accounting, ideally within a complex, multi-project environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems — NetSuite experience is preferred but not essential.
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong aptitude for working with data and financial models.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactively organised, and comfortable with ambiguity and evolving systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, willingness to take ownership and see issues through to resolution, balancing commercial and operational considerations.
- Experience in the maritime, offshore, engineering, or complex services sectors is highly advantageous — familiarity with Ocean Infinity’s business model or similar operations is a strong plus.
- Cashflow experience desirable.
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
