Ocean Infinity is seeking to strengthen and grow its Commercial team with talented, knowledgeable and entrepreneurial/self-starter Business Development Managers. This is a strategic position that plays a key role in driving new business across one or more of our core service lines—subsea inspection, geophysical and geotechnical survey, AUV operations, USV operations, and vessel chartering—depending on the candidate’s background and network. You will work closely with the Head of Business Development and collaborate cross-functionally across Ocean Infinity’s global teams to identify, develop, and close commercial opportunities that align with our growth ambitions.

Key Focus Areas:
- Key account Growth and OI Philosophy alignment and acceptance - proactively selling the value and eliminating any barriers.
- Ensure full integration between the Key account and Ocean Infinity across all key functions.
- Project Operations sponsorship and escalation management, ensuring we maintain and grow the relationships from within projects.
- Development Account allocation – progressing allocated development accounts to key account status within the agreed timeframe.
- New Opportunity development.
What Will You Do:
- Drive Growth within allocated Key accounts and ensure the long-term relationship strengthens over the short, medium, and long term through the ownership of the Key Account Plans and growth strategy.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and key account plans to drive new business and build upon strategic partnerships within selected sectors.
- Convert allocated development accounts to key accounts.
- Ensure full integration between the Key account and Ocean Infinity across all key functions.
- Provide project sponsorship and oversight throughout awarded projects from the key accounts.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities across relevant markets (e.g., energy, telecoms, renewables, infrastructure).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure commercial proposals are aligned with capabilities and deliver value.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and responses to RFIs/RFPs.
- Support the negotiation and closing of commercial agreements and contracts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform business strategy.
- Contribute to shaping the future direction of Ocean Infinity’s commercial focus areas based on emerging client needs and market trends.
- Represent Ocean Infinity at key industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
Who You Are:
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the maritime, subsea, or offshore industry.
- Proven track record of excelling with challenging sales, in terms of new concepts, technologies and solutions.
- Strong network and familiarity with one or more of the following areas: subsea inspections, geophysical/geotechnical surveys, AUV/ROV operations, vessel chartering, or uncrewed surface vessels (USVs).
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of an organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and CRM systems.
- Takes ownership and shows initiative in delivering results.
- Open and receptive to new and different ideas.
- Operates with integrity, maturity, and discretion.
- Proactive and collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
- Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Enthusiastic about technology, sustainability, and making a positive impact.
Desirable:

Salary for this position: up to £80,000 per annum. The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
