Ocean Infinity is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the definition and delivery of digital and data-driven products supporting our Survey and Data Automation solutions. This role sits within our Technology Solutions function and is responsible for shaping product vision, translating business and user needs into clear delivery priorities, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams, and Solution Managers, balancing user value, operational impact, and technical feasibility. While we are a global organisation, this role will be based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
What will you do:
- Define, own, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across delivery teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain and prioritise product backlogs, ensuring work is clearly defined, sequenced, and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Engage stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritise requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead Agile delivery teams to ensure efficient, high-quality software development outcomes.
- Review product progress regularly, adjusting priorities based on delivery insights, stakeholder feedback, and evolving business needs.
- Plan and manage scope, timelines, and delivery phases across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure agreed delivery processes and governance frameworks are followed and adapted where necessary.
- Work closely with Solution Managers to support governance, reporting, and management of milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure product quality, safety, and readiness for release.
- Communicate product progress, roadmap updates, and delivery insights clearly across the organisation.
- Write, review, or oversee the creation of user guides and supporting product documentation.
- Contribute to cross-portfolio planning to ensure dependencies and priorities across Solution portfolios are aligned and actively managed.
Who you are:
You are a confident, delivery-focused Product Owner who brings clarity to complex problems and momentum to cross-functional teams. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, take accountability for decisions within your remit, and collaborate effectively where alignment is required. You are comfortable operating in fast-moving environments and motivated by delivering meaningful outcomes through technology.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within digital or software delivery environments.
- Proven experience leading Agile software development teams and managing product backlogs and roadmaps.
- Strong ability to analyse user needs through observation, testing, data analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
- Sound decision-making capability, with clear ownership and accountability for product outcomes.
- Experience visualising and communicating delivery progress to motivate teams and increase stakeholder transparency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and delivery tasks.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with C2 or native-level English proficiency.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working autonomously toward strategic objectives.
Salary for this position: Up to £75,000 - £85,000 per annum
