Ocean Infinity is seeking an HR Advisor to deliver high-quality, consistent HR operational support across the employee lifecycle. This role supports an assigned business area and ensures HR processes are delivered accurately, compliantly, and with a strong focus on employee experience. The HR Advisor acts as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, working closely with the HR Operations Lead and HR Business Partners to ensure policies, data, and processes are applied consistently and pragmatically.
What will you do:
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including documentation, system setup, right-to-work checks, and induction scheduling.
- Process contractual changes, promotions, transfers, salary updates, and role changes accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Manage offboarding and exit processes, ensuring system updates, equipment return, and compliance steps are completed correctly.
- Act as first-line support for HR queries from employees and managers, providing clear guidance aligned with policy and employment legislation.
- Log, track, and manage HR cases within agreed SLAs, escalating complex or sensitive employee relations matters appropriately to HR Business Partners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within Workday and associated HR systems.
- Run routine and ad-hoc reports for HR and business stakeholders, supporting workforce insights, audits, and data validation activities.
- Support adherence to employment legislation, internal policies, and governance requirements across HR operations.
- Assist with audit preparation, risk mitigation, and compliance activities.
- Work closely with the HR Operations Lead and People Partners to ensure a consistent, joined-up HR service.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, data quality, and employee experience.

- You have a solid understanding of core HR processes and employment legislation and are comfortable applying them in day-to-day scenarios.

Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in an HR advisory or HR operations role.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday) and HR case management tools.
- Some exposure to employee relations would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, with an interest in using technology to improve HR processes and service delivery.
Salary: Up to £45,000. The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
