Ocean Infinity is seeking an Expeditor to join the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. The Expeditor will play a critical operational role in supporting the delivery of Ocean Infinity’s projects and ongoing operations by ensuring that goods procured from suppliers are delivered on time, in full, and in line with contractual commitments. Acting as the central coordination point between Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse/Workshop, Finance, Projects, and vessel teams, the Expeditor will focus on post contract activities, supplier delivery performance, and visibility of inbound materials. The role will work closely with Buyers and Senior Buyers to highlight delivery risks, manage supplier nonconformance, and protect project schedules and vessel availability in a fast-paced maritime robotics environment.

What you will do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for post-contract expediting of all physical goods across all procurement categories (excluding services).
  • Proactively chase suppliers to ensure deliveries are made in line with purchase order and contract commitments.
  • Manage and agree revised delivery schedules with suppliers where required, liaising with internal stakeholders to confirm priorities and impacts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery information in NetSuite, including promised dates, revised schedules, and goods receipts.
  • Coordinate deliveries into the warehouse/workshop and manage direct-to-vessel deliveries, liaising with vessel teams to confirm receipt and ensure system booking-in.
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to provide forward visibility of inbound deliveries and support consolidation of multiple shipments for onward delivery to vessels globally.
  • Support Projects and Mobilisations teams by prioritising critical path materials and highlighting delivery risks early.
  • Work with Warehouse and Buyers to raise and manage Supplier Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track rectification actions through to closure.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and highlight poor or recurring performance to the relevant Buyer and Senior Buyer for the category or subcategory.
  • Act as first point of contact for invoice queries related to delivery, quantity, or receipt discrepancies, coordinating resolution with Finance, Procurement, and suppliers.
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute weekly expediting reports and dashboards, focusing on OTIF performance, overdue PO lines, NCRs, and outstanding vessel deliveries.
  • Champion accurate data, clear communication, and disciplined follow-up to support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Who you are

  • Experienced in an operational supply chain, logistics, procurement support, or expediting role, or able to demonstrate strong transferable skills.
  • Persistent, organised, and delivery-focused, with the confidence to chase suppliers and coordinate across multiple internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a high-tempo, operational environment with changing priorities and tight schedules.
  • Strong communicator, able to work effectively with suppliers, vessel crews, project teams, and corporate functions.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a commitment to maintaining accurate system records and reports.
  • Proactive problem solver who identifies risks early and escalates appropriately.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable

  • 2–4 years’ experience in expediting, logistics, procurement operations, warehouse coordination, or supply chain roles.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and delivery or order tracking.
  • Exposure to international supply chains, freight forwarding, or vessel/offshore delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with OTIF metrics, supplier performance tracking, and nonconformance management.
  • Experience working across procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance interfaces.
