  • Work with IT, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Optimise cloud configurations for both security posture and cost efficiency, supporting FinOps principles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud security issues across corporate and third-party systems (e.g., NetSuite, SolidWorks PDM).
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  • Develop and maintain cloud security standards, policies, and governance documentation.
  • Mentor and support Cyber Security team members to uplift cloud-security capability across the organisation.
Who You Are

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, governance, identity management, and integration security.
  • Skilled with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, or CWPP platforms.
  • Experience working in hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including securing third-party and “shadow IT” services.
  • Able to lead incident response activities and conduct root-cause analysis for cloud-based events.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance detail with overall risk context.
  • Effective communicator who can translate complex security concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Independent, organised, and comfortable collaborating across globally distributed teams.
  • Fully capable of facing the dragon of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint and documenting what we do.
