Location: Stennack House, St Austell

Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £39,772 per annum

Contract: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Services Supervisor to lead our Damp, Mould and Condensation (DMC) service, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes for our customers.

You’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end case management—from initial reports through to surveys, works delivery, and post‑inspection—ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and “right first time”. This is a key operational leadership role where you’ll manage contractors and staff, drive performance, and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Property Services Manager, you will have day‑to‑day responsibility for supervising operational teams and leading the delivery of the DMC service, ensuring all cases are managed effectively from start to finish.

  • Manage and coordinate contractors, surveyors, and schedulers to deliver a seamless service
  • Monitor performance, quality, and compliance
  • Carry out inspections and oversee remedial works
  • Manage escalated and complex cases, including complaints resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying trends, and implementing service enhancements
  • Ensure excellent customer outcomes at every stage

You’ll also play a key role in shaping a culture of high performance, collaboration, and customer focus across the service.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Experience supervising staff and managing contractors in a repairs/maintenance environment
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation and standards (e.g. HHSRS, Homes Act, Awaab’s Law)
  • Understanding of damp, mould and condensation processes and indicators
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver value for money

Desirable:

  • Housing qualification (CIH Level 4 or equivalent)
  • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
  • Relevant qualification or training in damp, mould and condensation management, or willingness to work towards this
  • Experience working within social housing
