We’re passionate about creating great places to live and great places to work - and we’re looking for a People Administrator to play a key role in supporting our colleagues across the organisation. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity within our People Services team, where you’ll provide high-quality, confidential and customer-focused administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a permanent part‐time (32 hours per week covering 5 days per week, Mon‐Fri) role.
Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, changes and leavers.
- Prepare accurate employment documentation and maintain compliant employee records.
- Administer learning and development activity, inductions and training systems.
- Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, absence processes and occupational health activity.
- Support reward, recognition and allowance processes.
- Provide meeting, committee and minute–taking support where required.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to colleagues and managers.
- Support People Services projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience within a People or HR environment, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and digital systems.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, approachable and professional manner.
Desirable Skills
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience within the social housing sector.
- Minute–taking and report production experience.
- Knowledge of HR systems (Iris or Cascade experience is a plus).
