The Handyman would be responsible for building and ground maintenance which includes performing basic carpentry, plumbing, painting (wood, metal and wall) duties across the Production Plant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Making repairs to dolleys
- Sorting of tools
- Upkeep of ladders
- Sharpening of knives and scissors
- Cleaning of insectocutors
- Cleaning of drains/grease traps
- Inspection of wells
- Assisting with tyre changes
- Washing of trucks
- Pressure washing of specific areas - ie cafp/pad
- Basic repairs to roofing - flash band etc
- Changing of door; hinge removal, lock change
- Faucet and tap installations as well as repairs
- Assist Maintenance Technicians in their duties
- Basic masonry
- Use and care of workshop tools
- Change of plucker fingers
- Basic lubrication - use of grease gun
- Replacement of bathroom lights
- Scaffolding erection
- Upkeep of workshop
