This is not a domiciliary care role. You’ll provide 1:1 or 2:1 support at his home and in the community.

The gentleman is currently living in a nursing home following an extensive period of hospital treatments and rehabilitation. The ultimate goal is to get him back home to live with his partner and to build the right team to help achieve this.

This gentleman has expressed a preference for male support workers, ideally aged 40 and over, as he feels this would help him develop meaningful relationships with shared understanding and trust with those supporting him.

Pay Rates & Shifts:

Competitive hourly rates

Part-Time contracts (Minimum 12 hours)

Initially the shifts will be three days a week as we progress towards returning home, we anticipate developing a full 24-hour care package. Shifts will be:

11:00 - 18:00

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be supporting the gentleman at home during the day, focusing on rehabilitation, enablement and promoting independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting attendance at physiotherapy appointments and rehabilitation sessions.

Accompanying and assisting with hydrotherapy sessions.

Encouraging independence through meaningful enablement activities.
