Ocean BMW Motorrad Plymouth is seeking a full-time Motorcycle Technician to join our experienced team at our premium franchised dealership. As one of the most dynamic dealerships in the Southwest, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service while retailing both new and used motorcycles.

The Role

As a Motorcycle Technician, you will play a key role in our busy workshop, ensuring all motorcycles are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on new and used motorcycles
  • Ensuring all work complies with VOSA legislation
  • Managing, handling, and storing parts efficiently
  • Completing Visual Health Checks (VHCs) and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Delivering work within agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity
  • Communicating with the Aftersales team to provide customer updates
  • Contributing to an exceptional customer experience

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is passionate about motorcycles and committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience servicing and repairing modern motorcycles and scooters (BMW experience desirable)
  • Strong diagnostic skills using current industry equipment
  • The ability to clearly explain technical information to customers
  • A high level of technical competency and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner
  • Relevant formal qualifications
  • A full A category motorcycle licence
