Ocean MINI Plymouth is seeking an ambitious and inspiring MINI Sales Manager to lead our successful sales team and drive the continued growth of one of the world's most iconic automotive brands. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive sales leader to take full responsibility for the performance of the MINI franchise, leading from the front to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive profitability and develop a high-performing team.
The Role
As MINI Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall sales performance of the MINI business, ensuring the achievement of vehicle, finance, insurance and accessory sales objectives while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Working closely with the Head of Business and wider dealership management team, you will lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve outstanding results while delivering a truly premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the dealership's MINI sales objectives and profitability targets.
- Translate business strategy into effective operational sales plans.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts and performance objectives.
- Lead, inspire and coach a high-performing sales team to maximise productivity and results.
- Drive the sale of new and used MINI vehicles, finance, insurance and accessory products.
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and customer retention.
- Monitor and analyse departmental performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all dealership departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Ensure full compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and manufacturer standards.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the team.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an established automotive sales professional with previous management experience and a proven track record of delivering outstanding commercial results. You will be a natural leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships and creating an environment where teams thrive.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager, Brand Manager or similar leadership role within the motor industry.
- Proven success in achieving sales, profit and customer satisfaction targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
