About the job

We are on the lookout for a skilled Data Engineer to become an integral part of our Data Platform and Services team. Reporting to our Head of Data Platform and Services, you\’ll not only maintain and optimize our data infrastructure but also spearhead its evolution. Built predominantly on Databricks, and utilizing technologies like Pyspark and Delta Lake, our infrastructure is designed for scalability, robustness, and efficiency. You\’ll take charge of developing sophisticated data integrations with various advertising platforms, empowering our teams with data-driven insights and informed decision-making

What you’ll be doing for us

  • Leadership in Design and Development: Lead in the architecture, development, and upkeep of our Databricks-based infrastructure, harnessing Pyspark and Delta Lake.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Mastery: Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated deployments and system health monitoring.
  • Advanced Data Integration: Develop sophisticated strategies for integrating data with platforms like Google Analytics and Facebook Ads.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Data Pipeline Optimization: Enhance data pipeline frameworks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Performance Troubleshooting: Tackle complex data platform performance issues, promoting system stability.
  • Industry Trend Analysis: Keep abreast of the latest in data technologies, analytics, and security.
  • Agile Methodology Advocacy: Engage in Scrum teams, enhancing the agile development process.
  • Data Governance Leadership: Drive the development and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Data-Driven Culture Champion: Advocate for the strategic use of data across the organization.
