The Ocean Conservation Trust at the National Marine Aquarium is looking to recruit two Housekeeping Assistants working within our Housekeeping department for 25 hours per week. Site‑specific training will be provided; previous cleaning experience in a public or busy customer‑focused environment would be extremely beneficial. You will also have excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with members of the public.
Shifts will be 5‑hour shifts, five over seven days. Working hours will vary between an 8 am start and a 5:30 pm finish. The role is subject to a three‑month probationary period. Due to the nature of our business, all applicants should be fully flexible and available to work weekends, throughout the school holidays and bank holidays.
The housekeeping team plays a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our visitors at the National Marine Aquarium. They have a keen eye for detail and an organised approach, and together with our front‑of‑house staff, they are ambassadors for the company committed to consistently delivering high standards.

Pay: The rate of pay is NMW/NLW depending on age and ranges between £10.85–£12.71 per hour.
