As we approach the next stage of growth, we’re looking for our next E-commerce Manager to join our Growth team. The purpose of this role is to own the performance of our UK and US websites, and the email and referral programmes that keep customers coming back. You’ll report to our Director of Growth & Customer Experience, who owns direct revenue and runs our paid ads engine. You’ll own the website, CRM and referral side of that engine, making sure the offers and products customers find on site match what our paid campaigns promise, working with our agency partners and the wider marketing team to deliver it.
Website performance and merchandising
- Own conversion rate and AOV on the UK and US sites, measured market by market, driven by a structured testing roadmap.
- Work with the Director of Growth & Customer Experience to make customer journeys simple and intuitive, with on-site offers aligned to paid campaigns.
- Keep the site accurate, showcase our best performers, and hold every page to our standards of design and detail, mission and desirability.
- Manage website deliverables with our agencies.
Email and CRM
- Own and improve our automated flows and email campaigns against the trading calendar, partnering with our Senior Brand Marketing Manager so every send tells our story and sells.
- Grow CRM towards 30% of Shopify revenue.
Amazon
- Continuously improve Amazon listing conversion by applying our latest imagery and learnings, working with our agency.
Referral and ambassadors
- Build and grow referral and ambassador programmes that turn customers into our best acquisition channel, and report on their contribution to new customers and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Conversion rate and AOV rising quarter on quarter on both the UK and US sites.
- CRM revenue growing towards 30% of Shopify revenue.
- A website that is always accurate and shows our best products at their best.
- A referral and ambassador programme bringing in a growing share of new customers.
- A website that people see as well designed, mission-led and desirable.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in e-commerce, with proven ability building high-performance websites and intuitive shopping experiences.
- An owner’s mindset. You’re entrepreneurial: you spot a problem and fix it without waiting to be asked.
- An obsession with conversion. You know your numbers and always have the next test lined up.
- An eye for design and detail. You notice the wrong image, the clumsy line of copy and the unnecessary click.
- Hunger to learn. You want to learn everything about e-commerce and help us grow faster.
- An all-rounder with depth. Deep experience managing e-commerce sites on Shopify, plus a solid grounding in CRM and email (Klaviyo is a plus).
- Proof. Case studies with metrics showing the conversion, AOV or CRM results you’ve driven.
- Embodying our core principles: Think like a detailed and rigorous founder, Champions do extra, and Give a sh*t and go all in on the mission.
