Ocean Automotive are one of the South's most prestigious automotive groups operating businesses across Dorset and Somerset. The role will be based at our Head Office in Poole, but will require travel to our other sites, so a driving licence is essential.

HR Admin Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing starters and leavers, including induction of new starters, check in and end of probations, ensuring this is communicated with payroll
  • Manage the People Team inbox, responding in a timely manner
  • Administrating company benefit schemes, including updating relevant systems
  • Assisting in any People related meetings, with minute taking a requirement
  • Responsible for ensuring we meet all uniform requirements, managing stock levels, ordering and issuing of uniform to team members
  • Organising and booking training courses and updating HR system
  • Support the Head of People with day-to-day admin duties

This is a varied role where priorities can change quickly, you will be liaising with several different stakeholders through a variety of communication channels so excellent communication skills are key. You will have strong organisation and time management skills. HR Admin Assistant must have a thorough understanding of the need to handle information securely, confidentially and with discretion. As an individual you will be professional, positive, have a high attention to detail and accuracy and a team-player.

Salary is dependant on experience (26-27k, based on a 40 hour week). Happy to discuss hours ranging from 35-40 hours per week.
