Job Opportunity

At Insignia Healthcare Group, we are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and engaging Support Worker to join the care team of an amazing 24-year-old woman living in her own home in Great Hockham, Norfolk . She has a diagnosis of complex disorders including, Autism (specifically PDA) , Mental Health, Epilepsy and can demonstrate behaviours that challenge. She requires support around living independently and day to day activities. During the day she enjoys days out to local towns, walks in the surrounding country side and socialising with her friends on social media. She is bubbly, fun, outgoing and determined to get the most out of life.

Due to her individual needs, personality and the importance of building a positive and trusting relationship, we are looking for someone who can build a genuine connection with her, engage with her interests and personality, and provide support in a way that helps her feel comfortable, understood and in control.

What you'll be doing

As part of her support team, you'll provide 2:1 support that promotes her safety, wellbeing, independence and choice. You'll support her with day-to-day life while also encouraging her to build positive relationships, have fun, pursue her interests and make the most of every opportunity.

Key Details:

  • Shifts : 10-hour waking night shift
  • Schedule : Weekday and alternate weekend working
  • Contract : Part-time, Permanent position available
  • Location: Great Hockham (Norfolk)

*There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female, due to the nature of the personal care and support provided, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

*Due to insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over.
