Face to Face Social Market Research Interviewer – Mobile (travel up to 30 miles). Have you ever wondered where headlines like “36% of Britons think the government should reduce income tax” come from? As a Social Market Research Interviewer, you will visit people in their homes, gather their views on topics that matter, and record responses using a provided device.
Every conversation counts – your work helps shape decisions on crime, health, education, and more – influencing policies that impact millions across the UK.
- Work on major national studies like the Crime Survey for England & Wales and Understanding Society.
- Flexibility: Fit shifts around your life – afternoons, evenings, weekends.
- Inside London: £18.15/hr (£16.20 + £1.95 holiday pay) ~ Outside London: £16.09/hr (£14.35 + £1.74 holiday pay).
- £250 joiner bonus (paid upon completion of probation period c. week 12), paid travel expenses, and the chance to earn more with performance-based pay.
- Includes 12.07% holiday pay (equivalent to 20 days if working full time).
- Comprehensive, fully paid training to set you up for success.

- You will start on hourly pay. After completing your probation period (around 12 weeks), you will move to Payment by Results (PBR), where earnings are based on completed interviews, plus bonuses and incentives.
