About the Role Join us as a Recovery Worker in West Dunbartonshire. We are recruiting for a Recovery Worker to support our WithYou Community Service in West Dunbartonshire. Our service supports people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We have a main Recovery Base however much of our work is carried out across the local community. We work with people at all stages on their journey providing both one to one support and structured group work, alongside wellbeing and social activities. You will act as a champion for our clients, sharing your experiences and knowledge and showing change is possible. This means offering a safe space to share their experiences so we can understand their needs and design a support plan that's right for them. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Health care is desirable for this post. This role is full time and permanent with a starting salary of £26,250 per annum. There will be some Saturday working on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service. The salary for this role is on an incremental scale and will rise each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,900 per annum.
