We are looking for full-time Care Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Footprints, our specialist residential home for young people with physical disabilities and complex health needs. Set in a peaceful rural location in Stodmarsh, Canterbury, Footprints offers a warm, supportive and homely environment where young people are encouraged to build independence, enjoy new experiences and reach their full potential. Job Opportunity About the Role As a Care Support Worker, you will play an important part in the day-to-day lives of the young people we support. You will provide high-quality personal, emotional and practical care, while helping each young person feel safe, valued and empowered. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week on a rota basis. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, so reliability and flexibility are important. Shift Patterns Footprints provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns may include: • Earlies: 7.30am - 2.30pm • Lates: 2.30pm - 8.30pm • Days: 7.30am - 8.30pm Bank holidays are paid at double time. Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs, use their initiative and work confidently as part of a team. You should also hold a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
