Job Opportunity

Key responsibilities

  • Recruitment Process
  • Working with the HR team to manage the recruitment process for RMS including advertisements, scheduling interviews, preparing recruitment and assessment packs, supporting interviews, tracking equal opportunity statistics.
  • Understand the needs of RMS clients and assist in recruiting the right calibre of care workers and nurses.
  • Maintaining records
  • Scanning, filing and photocopying and record keeping relating to RMS and all staff.
  • Preparation of necessary spreadsheets of candidates with all required and relevant information.
  • Employee Administration
  • Updating staff files with necessary documentation ensuring these are also stored on the HR directory as well.

• Maintaining staff database and other staff records

  • Ensure all staff records are up to date (visas, passports, name/address/bank details/enhanced DBS records, mandatory training, ID badges etc)
  • Sending reminders to staff to provide updated documents
  • Prepare staff profiles as needed for London and Manchester in line with company protocol
  • Responding to routine enquiries about human resource functions and documents (in consultation with HR Manager/HR Officer)
  • Training
  • Support the HR team with any training related queries, updating systems and undertaking tasks required for and on the day of the training as required.
  • Administrative support to the HR Team
  • Schedule and support team meetings as required.
  • Ensure paperwork on all HR work is prepared to agreed standards and sent with required deadline
  • Minute team meetings and circulate to all before the next meeting.
  • Diary management of interviews for HR as required.
  • Assisting with correspondence and routine support
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the role.

Skills and Experience Essential (E) Desirable (D)

  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths is required - E
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. - E
  • Previous experience or a keen interest in health and social care or human resources is advantageous but not mandatory. - D
  • Proficiency in basic IT applications, such as Microsoft Office or similar software, is necessary. - E
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is important. - E
  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude, along with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals, is crucial. D
  • Good attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality at all times are also required. E
  • At least one year of office administration E
  • Experience with managing HR processes and procedures D
  • Ability to multi-task and cope with several enquiries E
  • Good at record keeping E
  • Experience of taking minutes at meetings D
