iMap - Individuals Making Autism Positive are an established support and education provider committed to increasing the participation of children and adults with autism in all aspects of living and learning. iMap is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Bank Adult Support Workers to join our team at the iMap Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and additional support needs to live fulfilling and independent lives. As a Bank Adult Support Worker, you will provide flexible cover to support our services during periods of annual leave, sickness, and increased demand. Holiday pay rolled up and paid as an additional 12.07% of your basic pay for all hours worked. This represents payment for your statutory holiday entitlement and is paid alongside your hourly rate. There is an additional £0.40 per hour for Waking Night duties. You will support individuals to participate in a range of meaningful activities, develop life skills, access their local community, and achieve their personal goals. You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide person-centred support that promotes choice, independence, dignity, and wellbeing by: Providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Supporting people to engage in social, recreational, and community activities. Assisting with personal care where required. Supporting individuals to manage daily routines and activities. Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, and positive behaviour support practices. Previous experience in a support worker role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
