Are you compassionate, energetic and ready to make a genuine difference every day? We are looking for full-time Care & Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Footprints, our specialist residential home for young people with physical disabilities and complex health needs.
Set in a peaceful rural location in Stodmarsh, Canterbury, Footprints offers a warm, supportive and homely environment where young people are encouraged to build independence, enjoy new experiences and reach their full potential. Job Opportunity
About the Role
As a Care & Support Worker, you will play an important part in the day-to-day lives of the young people we support. You will provide high-quality personal, emotional and practical care, while helping each young person feel safe, valued and empowered.
This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week on a rota basis. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, so reliability and flexibility are important.

Shift Patterns
Footprints provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns may include:
• Earlies: 7.30am - 2.30pm
• Lates: 2.30pm - 8.30pm
• Days: 7.30am - 8.30pm
Bank holidays are paid at double time.

Essential Skills
What We’re Looking For
You do not need to be perfect — but you do need to care. We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable and enthusiastic about supporting young people to enjoy life to the fullest.
Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs, use their initiative and work confidently as part of a team. You should also hold a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
