Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum pro rata for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience, or £28,500 per annum pro rata for candidates not yet CAVA qualified.

Responsibilities
  • Book and carry out workplace assessments of Diploma in Dental Nursing learners within the required time period.
  • Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners.
  • Ensure correct completion and submission of all assessment paperwork.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners and practice managers in a sensitive manner.
  • Prepare and support a small caseload of learners for EPA.
  • Conduct health & safety and equal opportunities vetting and monitoring of practice, providing guidance where necessary.
  • Plan and prepare for each workplace assessment.
  • Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements, and maintain your GDC registration.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Training or Assessing Qualification – or willingness to acquire one.
  • Qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Enhanced DBS Check on the Update Service – or willingness to undergo one.
  • Based in Wakefield to conduct workplace assessments.
  • Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • IT literate – proficient use of MS Office.
  • Experience assessing the Dental Diploma/Advance Apprenticeship (desirable).
  • Experience working within work‑based learning programmes (desirable).
