We are seeking an experienced hands-on Project Manager with a background in business and IT change to lead cross-functional projects from concept through to closure and lessons learnt. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communication. The role will cover a wide range of projects including IT, Operational, Commercial etc. and will involve the management of a number of projects concurrently.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for business change, M&A and IT projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Warehousing, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Finance.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships where required for the successful delivery of the project.
- Track KPIs and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure the stakeholders are engaged with the project and kept informed noting that these may be senior leadership within the business.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are closed effectively and lessons learnt are captured.
- Ensure projects meet the governance standards set out by the PMO.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT or another relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience of project management experience in a manufacturing environment including IT and business change projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and cross-functional teams.
- Certified in Prince2, Prosci and Agile is preferred.
