Key Responsibilities
- Fit and install unvented hot water systems (direct and indirect)
- TMV servicing and installation
- Monitor hot water systems
- Clean and disinfect CWSTs
- Remove dead legs and modify pipe sections (15mm/22mm/35mm)
- Perform copper pipe work and fittings using solder ring, compression or press fit
- Conduct closed system testing, analysis and dosing
- Control labour on site and verify fitters’ work
- Travel within region and accommodate occasional overnight stays
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the plumbing industry
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing
- Basic understanding of water hygiene
- Excellent organisation and time‑keeping skills, working to deadlines
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Standards, systems, procedures and process‑focused mindset
- Self‑motivation, initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Willingness and ability to travel around the region, including occasional overnight stays
