Key Responsibilities

  • Fit and install unvented hot water systems (direct and indirect)
  • TMV servicing and installation
  • Monitor hot water systems
  • Clean and disinfect CWSTs
  • Remove dead legs and modify pipe sections (15mm/22mm/35mm)
  • Perform copper pipe work and fittings using solder ring, compression or press fit
  • Conduct closed system testing, analysis and dosing
  • Control labour on site and verify fitters’ work
  • Travel within region and accommodate occasional overnight stays

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the plumbing industry
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing
  • Basic understanding of water hygiene
  • Excellent organisation and time‑keeping skills, working to deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Standards, systems, procedures and process‑focused mindset
  • Self‑motivation, initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Willingness and ability to travel around the region, including occasional overnight stays
