The predicted salary is between 13 - 13 £ per hour.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, England, United Kingdom

Hours: Monday to Friday – 10:30 am to 20:00 pm

Shift Allowance:

  • 06:00 – 18:00 – £13.00 per hour
  • 18:00 – 22:00 – £14.95 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers' goods following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Unload and load cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles using forklift truck, pallet truck, VNA MHE or by hand
  • Load international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans
  • Pick and pack orders to ensure on-time full delivery
  • Wrap and unwrap goods and manage stock
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse movements
  • Perform daily housekeeping within the warehouse and site

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in a logistics/warehouse environment
  • Previous loading/unloading of vehicles and experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift truck
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence essential
  • Preferred: experience loading international groupage trailers
  • Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, safety and ability to work under pressure
  • Punctual, reliable and professional
