Location: Llangennech, Wales, United Kingdom

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Working patterns: Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (half hour lunch break deducted)

Key accountabilities:
  • Carrying out non-mechanical repairs to restore trailers to required performance, e.g., repairing side curtains, straps, buckles, cleaning, jet washing etc.
  • Replacement of non-mechanical parts
  • Working at height using ladders and mobile platform to carry out side and roof repairs of trailers
  • Carry out all other duties as directed by the Company
Qualifications / Job Training:
  • Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair or equivalent (advantageous but not essential).
  • A clean driving licence is essential.
  • HGV category C+E entitlement (advantageous but not essential).
  • Training in IOSH working safely (advantageous but not essential).
Experience:
  • Working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant transferable skills from other roles.
Skills:
  • Ability to repair non-mechanical faults.
  • Team player with a flexible “Can Do” attitude.
