Clinical Service Manager / Deputy Registered Manager at Occupop, located in Sutton, England, United Kingdom. Permanent full‑time (40 hr per week, on site). Responsible for four nursing complex care wards (8–15 beds each). Salary competitive based on experience. Responsibilities

  • Support the Centre Director to deliver outstanding care to patients in line with best practice and the Fairlie Healthcare Group's Core Values and Values Framework.
  • Co‑ordinate the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to meet patient needs in line with evidence‑based practice and the Patient’s Care Plan.
  • Provide nursing leadership to the qualified nursing staff, acting as a role model and encouraging service development.
  • Be aware of patient clinical dependencies and build effective partnership relationships with patients and their significant others.
  • Ensure clinical areas are safely staffed in respect of skill mix, competency and numbers of staff according to patient dependencies, clinical risk and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Oversee the medicines management system: ordering, storage, administration and disposal in line with policies.
  • Coordinate and oversee the Centre's GSF processes and accreditation.
  • Lead the Centre’s IPC processes and coordinate the clinical admissions pathway.
  • Take responsibility for the Clinical Budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and stock management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing all aspects of clinical services in a similar setting.
  • Experience in Nursing Management, Critical Care Medicine and Patient Care.
  • Experience in acute medicine, Clinical Governance reporting and action plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as Safeguarding Lead (desirable).
  • Desirable experience in A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, Respiratory or Complex Care settings.
  • Ideal experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care.
  • Full‑time onsite availability.
